Shed 3 construction has well and truly started in readiness for the Hip Hops Brewery opening later in 2022!
The works commenced on the refurbishment earlier this month by Urban Insight Constructions with the demolition of the exterior walls.
The Shed, originally constructed in the 1960s to house a truck smash repair business, is being brought back to life adding to The Sheds precinct another venue for people to eat, drink and celebrate, when the brewery opens later this year.
Shed 3, offering roughly 700sqm footage, will maintain the exposed structural steel beams to pay homage to the original building as well as to achieve an industrial-chic look.
This use of structural steel, that will be painted monument grey, will give an open and striking aesthetic.
The Sheds intentional repurposing of the steel frame will make it a huge hit for those interested in green design, vintage appeal and in keeping with their sustainability principals.
These exposed beams will not only be aesthetically pleasing but will also create a greater sense of space.
The industrial-chic styling will pair these exposed beams with a concrete floor; sleek lighting, exposed brick work; and painted metal shed wall panels.
These architectural features will be topped off with a large canopy for outdoor seating and an urban oasis we’ve come to expect from the gardens at The Sheds.
The Hip Hops Brewers have released their interior fit out design which will not disappoint with something for everyone and more.
